Among more recently composed concerti, I love Ellen Taaffe Zwilich's violin concerto. An underplayed favorite of mine from the Romantic era: Alexander Campbell Mackenzie's Pibroch Suite.
The Pibroch Suite isn't on YouTube, but there are samples here: http://www.cedillerecords.org/albums/scottish-fantasies-for-violin-and-orchestra
If I can cheat a little, I actually like the Brahms double concerto even more than his violin concerto.
